During 2021, amidst the covid-19 pandemic that challenged and shifted the landscape of the greek startup ecosystem, Penny Kontogeorgou, Partner at ZK Law Firm, along with team members Niki Tsibogou and Zoe Syrmakezi, took on the mentorship of startups that joined the ecosystem of Greek Startup Universe.
Our team held online appointments with dozens of startup founders and their teams that wanted to explore legal issues inherent in theis business models. We talked with startups from the raw materials sector, the tech industry, e-commerce and many more, and navigated legal issues such as:
- funding and investment (term sheets, Shareholders Agreements, negotiations, NDAs)
- company set-up
- regulatory licensing in various industry fields
- contracts and legal documents (terms and conditions, privacy policies, agreements)
- digital transformation and data protection issues
- e-commerce and digital platforms legislation
